Exploded Drawing encompasses so much more than just an event; it’s a community of open individuals. For the attendee, it’s a chance to have their musical understanding bent and molded into an unrecognizable state. For the performer it’s a haven to showcase work outside of laptop speakers. Exploded drawing is a home for music of all genres. The only rules are that is must be original and it must be performed, not DJ’d or played. The auditory experience is reason to come to Exploded Drawing alone, and the visual work solidifies it. Austin’s most innovative VJs, in-house with VJDK & DUALE, bring out solid ocular accompaniment.
